Questions

Can I just close the app?

You can leave it, but it won't go quiet. The ring keeps playing, the system alarm comes back on your lock screen, and if you force-quit, a backup alarm rings again within about half a minute, over and over, until the missions and the maze are done.

Does it need internet?

No. Everything runs on your iPhone, including push-up counting. Nothing is uploaded.

Is there a snooze?

Off by default. You can switch on one optional one-minute "mercy" snooze per morning in Settings.
